How To Become an Official

For the 2022-2023 Season, an official can fulfill their membership requirements directly through NGA with an NCSI Background Screening and the Abuse Prevention Course, as long as a judge has a current NAWGJ membership and recognized rating.

Men’s Judges’ Exam—Register

  • An official can fulfill their membership requirements directly through NGA with NCSI Background Check and the Abuse Prevention Course if a judge has a current NGJA or NAWGJ membership.
  • To become a member of the Men’s National Gymnastics Judges Association (NGJA) CLICK HERE.
  • To become a member of the National Association of Women’s Gymnastics Judges (NAWGJ) CLICK HERE.
  • To become a member of the National Gymnastics Association (NGA) CLICK HERE.
  • Please ensure to register as an official.
